Ghana and Japan have signed a US$20 million grant agreement aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery in the Northern Region.

Ghana and Japan have signed a US$20 million grant agreement to strengthen healthcare delivery in selected hospitals in the Northern Region.

The agreement was announced in a Facebook post on Monday, February 23, by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa

The exchange of notes, according to Ablakwa was signed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between himself and the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, Hiroshi Yoshimoto.

The grant is expected to enhance access to quality and affordable healthcare services in beneficiary facilities across the Northern Region
