The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) is currently touring selected polling centres, beginning with the Korle Klottey Constituency, as voting gets underway.
The visit forms part of efforts to assess the security situation on the ground, monitor police deployment, and ensure a peaceful and orderly voting process.
The IGP is engaging officers and electoral officials at the centres, while reassuring voters and party agents of the police service’s commitment to maintaining law and order throughout the exercise.
