No monthly salary for additional Black Stars technical staff – Kofi Adams

Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams has reiterated that Alain Raivera and Kim Lars Bjorkegren will not receive monthly salaries for their roles with the Black Stars.

“Alain is not on a salary. Kim will not be on a monthly salary other than the salary he takes as the coach of the Black Queens. That’s all he’s going to be taking, but he will benefit from some allowances,” Adams told Citi Sports.

Kim and Ravera were added to the backroom staff of the team alongside three others to strengthen the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

The minister emphasized that the government is not paying salaries to these additional staff members.

“They will be entitled to other services that are rendered to every member of the team, but they are not on salaries. We’re not paying any of these additions any salary.”

The arrangement allows the technical staff to support the team without committing to long-term salary obligations.
